Volvo Got City Safety Award 2009

VOLVO CARS RECEIVES PAUL PIETSCH AWARD 2009 FOR CITY SAFETY.

For every safety award we receive, we are equally proud. Recently the new safety system, City Safety was honoured with the prestigious Paul Pietsch Award 2009, by the reputed German automobile journal “Auto Motor and Sport”. Volvo City Safety is a driver assistant system which can prevent rear-end collisions typical of low speeds or reduce the damage caused by the accident. City Safety is standard in the Volvo XC60. The cash prize of €12,500 will be used to promote safety awareness in German elementary schools.
